SIL 3 SURGE PROTECTOR FOR MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL TECHNOLOGY

D9024S provides two-stage surge protection for floating I/ 0 signals of measurement and control and safety systems . With width of 6mm, it can be easily fitted into any marshalling cabinets or distribution cabinets. 
The SPD provides surge protection with 6 MHz bandwidth 4.7Ω Loop impedance . With disconnect knife on both signal paths features for easy testing of the loop.

Surge arresters fulfill explosion protection requirements, ensure coordination with terminal equipment and meet the requirements resulting from the operating parameters of measuring and control circuits. Equipment and/or systems in potentially explosive atmosphere or contributing to safety within these atmospheres require a surge arrester suitably tested and ATEX approved. Intrinsically safe surge protection devices, in intrinsically safe circuits, have to meet the same standards of design and construction as the intrinsically safe equipment.
